Meet Our Founder

Catherine Doocey is Director and Principal of Border Leadership. She’s a registered Psychologist holding a Masters in Organisational (Workplace) Psychology from Monash University.

Born and raised in the Border region, Catherine combines her local roots with big city experience, gained across Australia and internationally. Over the past 20 years, she’s worked in senior level organisational development and psychology consulting roles, helping leaders and teams grow and succeed.

After moving home to the Albury Wodonga region in 2021, she took a senior leadership role in an iconic local organisation. During that time she saw a real need for leadership and organisational development support that is based in the Border region.

Inspired to make a difference in her own backyard, she founded Border Leadership, a business that works alongside local organisations to help their people and businesses truly thrive.
